ENTREPRENEURIALISM
We have a wide range of workshops and activities that are interchangeable which speaks to TMP’s vital shift in perspective with working with youth — the recognition that problem-free is not fully prepared, and that fully prepared is not fully engaged. But, in too many communities and for too many young people, prevention, preparation and engagement are still seen as competing options rather than complementary goals. And far too few young people have access to the services, supports and opportunities necessary to solve and prevent problems, develop fully and engage in community life.

ENTREPRENEURIAL WORKSHOPS
There’s a difference between being an Entrepreneurial leader and being a manager. “Managers do things right, while Entrepreneurial leaders do the right thing. Even when the right thing isn't the popular thing."
Leadership usually focuses on effecting change and being people focused, while management is often about bringing stability and being systems-focused.
“Contrary to what we believe, entrepreneurism is not just about making a boat load of money, living with reckless abandonment, nor is it merely about starting your own business - it is a lifestyle, with values that are applicable to all human relationships and human economic activities”. Joseph Watson
The Road To Entrepreneurism Workshop For Youth
Is sensitive to the 21st Century’s, Youth’s, insatiable desire to “Run Things”, be a “Shot Caller” and ultimately be “A BOSS”!
In order to be successful in the global marketplace, our youth and young adults must learn and practice skills that will help them “make a job” not just “take a job.” The skill set needed to accomplish that goal includes visioning, leading, communicating, listening, problem solving, managing change, networking, negotiating and team building (Dabson, 2001; Sahlman & Stevenson, 1992).
